Payment Policies
Invoices
I will send an invoice via email within two hours after the session. Invoices can be paid by card. I generally expect payment within 24 hours of the invoice being sent. All charges are rounded up to a multiple of 15 minutes, as measured from the beginning of our scheduled session time, even if this does not perfectly match the originally anticipated session length. Charge includes any time spent debriefing with students or families. However, there is no charge for time spent on planning, scheduling, or other logistics at the beginning or end of the session, nor in separate calls.
Cancellations
There is no charge for a cancellation given prior to the day of a scheduled lesson. If you notify me of a cancellation on the day of the scheduled session, you are responsible for half of the expected session fee (fee waived for the first such cancellation). For a no-show, I charge for the scheduled amount of time at the full rate. I will wait for the student for 15 minutes and then consider the session a no-show. If I must cancel within 24 hours, I will offer the next session (of comparable length) at half price.
Failure to pay
Upon failure to pay a charge (including a cancellation charge) within 24 hours of issuance, I cannot schedule further appointments until the invoice is paid.
